Our event is aimed to attract all ages and the bigger the turn out the better! Our marketing plan has been put together with the intention to create maximum exposure within Hook and the surrounding area.
We look to promote the event through a wide variety of marketing tools. These are set to include;
With this in mind it means we offer a great opportunity for local businesses to promote what they do within the area. We have a number of ways that this can be done which are detailed below.

Our event is aimed to attract all ages and the bigger the turn out the better! Our marketing plan has been put together with the intention to create maximum exposure within Hook and the surrounding area.
We look to promote the event through a wide variety of marketing tools. These are set to include;
- Articles and adverts within local newspapers and magazines. To include articles within the Hook Focus Magazine which is distributed to 1000 households within the Town and sold in all the local shops and the Basingstoke Gazette.
- Brochure Distribution – brochures to be distributed to around 3000 households within the local area via post.
- Flyer and Poster distribution to local businesses within the area. Promotion days planned to hand out flyers in prominent local locations.
- Media advertising: radio announcements to include Eagle, Heart etc.
- Website created and advertised through all other marketing activities.
- Outdoor advertising: banners and signage throughout Hook and the surrounding areas.
- Social Media – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram all to be utilised, including sharing the event on the pages of local groups and clubs. Our Facebook page has attracted over 800 followers and grows every day thanks to the continued coverage within the local press.
- Advertising on what’s on websites, including listings on local council sites.

Sponsorship Packages
We are offering 3 options for sponsorship of the event, all with varying levels of return for your investment. These packages have been named after some of Ellie’s favourite animals!
Freddie the Dog - £500
- Your logo on promotional materials (online and in print)
- Your logo in a prominent position at the entrance to the event
- Inclusion in media adverts and articles where written with our input
- Half page advertisement within our brochure distributed to over 3000 houses
- Sponsors area to advertise your company (this can include banners, business cards etc)
- Logo inclusion on staff t-shirts on the day
- Logo and 100-word statement and link to your website included on the ElFest website
- Social media promotion
Archie the Cat - £250
- Your logo on promotional materials (online and in print)
- Your logo in a prominent position on our main stage and entrance to the event.
- Medium advertisement within our brochure distributed to over 3000 houses
- Logo and 50-word statement and link to your website included on the ElFest website
- Social media promotion
Tim Tam the Dog - £100
- Your logo at the entrance to the event
- Your logo on our website on our sponsors and donations page

ElFest Magazine Article

This year we will be creating an ElFest magazine which will be distributed through Hook and the surrounding villages prior to our event. The magazine is going to be distributed to over 3000 homes at the beginning of July in order to maximise the publicity leading up to the day.
Within our magazine we have space for local businesses to advertise, the sizes and costs of which are below.

Business Stall
Another option we have for you to advertise with us in within our Market on the day itself. Throughout the event we have stalls available for local businesses to sell goods or market their services. These come in two options, as detailed below;
OPTION 1 - A 2m x 2m space which will include a 6ft trestle table and shelter under a large gazebo/marquee.
The cost of this space is £25.00
OPTION 2 – A 3m x 3m space to pitch your own gazebo (if required). No tables are included.
The cost of this space is £10.00
Notes – Option 1 spaces are limited. All stalls are located in a space with other stall holders and we will endeavour to ensure that no two stalls are too similar. Please state on your booking form if you are not able to be placed on grass.

Competition Prizes
We have several competitions running on the day including our Raffle, Tombola and various children’s competitions. All of our prizes are kindly donated by local businesses and residents. Any donations you are able to make a greatly appreciated.
